Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Facility

Schedule: Minimum of 2 shifts per week, including weekend coverage
Shift: First Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Range -$60.00-65.00 an hour paid weekly

Responsibilities

Independently implement the nursing process for assigned patients.
Carry out physician orders, including medication administration and treatments.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and nursing interventions.
Change dressings and provide wound care.
Maintain accurate medical records and prepare required reports.
Make sound clinical decisions in routine situations.
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of patient treatment and healthcare plans.
Ensure care is delivered in accordance with correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.

Requirements

Licensed RN in CT
Experience in emergency, behavioral health, and correctional experience highly preferred, not required
