You’ll play a key role by facilitating communication, supporting learning goals, and collaborating with teachers and staff. Your fluency in American Sign Language and experience within a school setting will ensure that every student receives the individualized attention and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one and in small groups with middle school students, interpreting and facilitating communication using ASL.
• Support teachers in providing classroom instruction and ensuring accessibility for all students.
• Assist with student engagement, classroom activities, and hands-on learning.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support student learning and progress.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; able to provide high school or college transcripts upon hire.
• Must be fluent in American Sign Language.
• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ educational and social development.
