San Luis Preschool - (Grant Funded Position)

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field, is required.
• Valid Arizona teacher certification is required.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Major Responsibilities:

• In accordance with the law and district policy, the Teacher is responsible for working under the direction of the Principal to:
• Implement the GESD curriculum
• Effectively utilize the GESD instructional management system to monitor and improve the effectiveness of instruction.
• Provide effective instruction for all students in his/her classroom.
• Participate in grade level, school-wide, and other meetings.
• Provide a learning atmosphere and environment conductive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of all students.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students.
• Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.
