CT Technologist (PRN)

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are vital members of a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensuring diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Responsibilities Perform CT exams, operate imaging equipment safely, and adjust techniques as needed. Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards, report equipment issues promptly. Gather clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using clear communication. Administer contrast agents, position patients, and apply shielding and immobilization. Review and finalize images, document procedures accurately, and manage RIS/PACS workflows. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum one year of radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
