Cardiologist – Independent Practice (MedCBO Supported) Physician owns and operates an independent medical practice. MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative and operational support while the physician directs clinical care and practice strategy. Overview Independent practice ownership enables full clinical autonomy, ownership of the medical entity, and control over patient care policies. MedCBO supplies revenue cycle, payer contracting, EHR platform, credentialing, finance, HR, staffing, supply‑chain coordination, and technology implementation. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the scope of cardiology practice. Develop professional relationships within the local medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO support. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiology or an appropriate specialty Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice ownership model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
