Miracle Playgrounds of Indiana is the exclusive Indiana representative for Miracle Recreationplayground equipment, Poligon park shelters and UPC Parks, and an authorized representative

for additional manufacturers across a range of product families. As a small, owner-operated firm,

we manage each project from the initial conversation through the final punch list. Our clients

include parks departments, schools, churches, childcare centers and entertainment venues, as

well as the landscape architects and contractors who serve them.

Role Description

The Outside Sales Representative is a full‑time sales role based remotely in the state of Indiana. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with municipalities, schools, parks, developers, design firms, and other organizations seeking outdoor recreation solutions. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting in-person sales presentations, and meeting with clients on‑site to understand their needs and propose appropriate playground and recreation solutions. The representative will prepare quotes and proposals, manage follow‑up and negotiations, and collaborate with internal team members on project design, pricing, and installation planning. Ongoing responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, providing responsive customer service, and representing Miracle Playgrounds of Indiana at industry events, trade shows, and community meetings.

• Demonstrated ability in sales presentations and new business development, with a focus on consultative, solution‑based selling.
• Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills to foster long‑term partnerships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional written correspondence.
• Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management, preferably in construction, recreation, or related industries.
• Comfort working on‑site and traveling within assigned territory to meet with clients and attend events.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline, meet deadlines, and achieve or exceed sales targets with minimal supervision.
• Able to manage an independent schedulewith little daily supervision
• Basic proficiency with CRM tools, email, and office productivity software for tracking opportunities and preparing proposals.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular client visits.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
• 5+ years of B2B sales, or a landscape architecture, parks or construction background is preferred.
• Experience selling a considered purchase with a long decision cycle is preferred
• Familiarity with public‑agency purchasing and Indiana bid thresholds is preferred
