Manufacturing EngineerEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for plant production by responding to line disruptions and issuesImprove manufacturing efficiently by analyzing and planning workflows, space requirements and equipment layoutsDesign and build custom tooling and fixturesConfer with Manufacturing Project engineers and Product engineering concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methodsWork with vendors on specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, tooling or partsManage all projects through planning, development, and implementationCollaborate with other Manufacturing Engineers to ensure manufacturing consistency across the corporationUse 3D CAD when needed for tooling developmentUse 2D CAD when needed for plant layout adjustmentsConduct production time studies as neededWork and communicate in a team environmentOther duties may be assigned as required by the CompanyAbove is a list of the most important responsibilities and functions, which are essential to the position.
