The successful candidate will join a diverse Engineering and Technology team at RMS Mitchel Field, and support Trident Navigation program and initiatives related to test lab and equipment configuration management for integration and test events.

Responsibilities:

• Support Lab Event Scheduling and Daily Reporting
• Support Lab Equipment and Infrastructure Schedule Maintenance Procedures, installation and removal
• Support Fleet Equipment Return Investigations
• Manage and maintain equipment integrity, configuration, and set up in a classified environment.
• Support Leadership Meetings through status and presentation build
• Review and execute to Program Test plans and procedures
• Be available to support emergent needs should there be a facility shut down or catastrophic failure (e.g. weekends and nights)
• Support internal and external audits (e.g. NAVY and LM ESH)
• Lead and support LM RMS ESH requirements as site's main Lab POC.

You will provide Test Lab support to a diverse cross-functional group of Operations and Engineering professionals that spread across multiple programs within the Trident Navigation portfolio.

Lockheed Martin Test is building up a cross-functional team to help drive better execution of test events on time, within cost and with optimal results. Therefore, we are seeking a team member to support this vision forward successfully. You will work effectively throughout the RMS E&T organization, both vertically and horizontally, to build strong working team relationships in advancing program deliverables that meet program and customer expectations.

Desired skills:

• Bachelors degree in an Engineering Discipline with 1+ year of lab and field experience
• Ability to proactively identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures and departmental operations.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge/experience with Special Test Equipment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds of material.
• Familiarity with Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) Industry Standards and Best Practices.
