About the Position

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care operating room setting
• Participate in on-call rotation; weekday call hours run 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM as assigned per call rotation schedule
• Participate in weekend coverage as required, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Adhere to facility charting standards using Epic electronic health records
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must be able to meet all pre-start compliance requirements, including labs, within required timeframes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
