Pharmacist in Richmond, IN

An opportunity exists for a Pharmacist to support a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana with night shift coverage. This role involves a 6-month assignment with the potential for temp-to-hire placement. The position offers an immediate start and focuses on providing pharmaceutical care during overnight hours.


Schedule:

• Night Shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily workflow and operational tasks
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication dosing
• Consult with physicians and nurses to provide clinical recommendations and support
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana
• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Comfortable working night shifts on a rotating schedule
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar hospital information systems is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
