Job Title Travel RN – Oncology Location Dallas, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | Tuesday Start Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a dedicated Oncology unit with an estimated patient ratio of 4:1 (max 5:1) Perform sterile dressing changes using strong infection prevention protocols Administer and monitor blood and electrolyte replacement per established protocols on a daily basis Operate Baxter infusion pumps and document care accurately using Meditech EMR Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians in a team-centered environment Float to other areas of the facility as needed per unit guidelines Required Qualifications Active RN license valid for practice in Texas BLS certification required ACLS certification required Minimum 1 year of RN experience Strong working knowledge of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention practices Solid understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement protocols Preferred Experience / Skills General Medical Oncology background Experience with ports and central lines Familiarity with Meditech EMR Why Join Us Join a structured, team-centered Oncology unit with clear staffing ratios and a supportive care environment Gain valuable travel nursing experience in a well-established acute care setting with a 13-week engagement Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 793396.
