VP, Senior UW Manager - Energy Casualty 131859 Responsibilities Managing up to 6-8 market facing underwriters who proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities. Identifying new growth opportunities with key distributors for areas of responsibility. Ensuring that accounts are qualified and meet the organization’s appetite, balanced with sound business opportunity. Conducting agents, brokers, customer, and on‑site calls with a planned and well‑prepared purpose. Overseeing negotiations of terms & conditions and closing deals. Ensuring cross‑sell within areas of responsibility to increase product density with the account. Providing continuous coaching on sales best practices and mentoring staff to develop strong broker and client networks related to industries underwritten by the Business Unit. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 10 or more years of experience in Underwriting, Market Facing, Broker, Carrier, or Risk Management within the Commercial Insurance industry OR Bachelor’s Degree with 20 or more years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support within the Commercial Insurance industry AND Experience in the Energy Casualty business segment. 2 or more years of people‑management experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree.

Advanced knowledge of Energy Casualty product lines and the commercial insurance industry. Experience leading and managing market‑facing underwriters. Strong broker relationships in Energy Casualty. Excellent communication skills. Excellent relationship‑building skills. Strong presentation skills. Results oriented. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $200,000 - $285,000 (Annual) with Global Specialty Incentive Plan bonus eligibility set at 50%.
