House Ford in Red Wing, MN is looking for an Automotive Service Technician- A/B level to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. This position is located in Red Wing, MN.

Automotive Service Technician- A/B Level Responsibilities:

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools
• Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Communicate findings and additional repair needs to Service Advisors with accurate time estimates
• Complete warranty repairs in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Stay current with Ford training, technical bulletins, and evolving automotive technology

Automotive Service Technician- A/B Level Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional Automotive Service Technician experience preferred
• Ford certification, or certifications with other OEMs preferred
• Previous Ford dealership experience preferred, or experience with other OEMs
• A/B level skill set and certifications, including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency using diagnostic scanners and electronic repair equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service mindset
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
