Job SummaryThe Cash Room Manager is responsible for overseeing all cash handling operations, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance with company policies and audit requirements. This role manages cash controls, monitoring processes, and team performance to maintain financial integrity and support overall store operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily cash room operations to ensure accurate handling, processing, and security of fundsEnsure compliance with all company cash handling policies, procedures, and audit requirementsMonitor cash counts, reconciliations, and variances, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of discrepanciesMaintain accurate records and documentation related to cash activity and reportingSupervise and manage cash room staff to ensure adherence to operational standards and performance expectationsReview and validate daily, weekly, and periodic cash reports for accuracyEnsure proper controls are in place for cash access, transactions, and secure storageCoordinate cash-related processes with front-end and accounting functionsIdentify risks, inconsistencies, or control gaps and implement corrective actionsMaintain organization, security, and cleanliness of the cash room areaQualificationsPrevious experience in cash handling, accounting, or financial operationsStrong understanding of cash control procedures and reconciliation processesExperience leading or supervising a teamHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience managing cash room or financial operations in a retail environmentFamiliarity with audit standards and financial controlsBackground in high-volume cash handling environmentsWork Environment / ExpectationsPrimarily office or secured cash room environment. Requires handling and processing cash, reviewing documentation, and maintaining strict adherence to security protocols.
