Meat Cutter

We are looking for a Meat Cutter with exceptional butcher skills to join our butchering team. In this role, you break down beef, pork, poultry, and other meat products into various cuts before weighing out portions to sell. You also help prepare specialty items, such as sausages. Meat Cutter Duties and Responsibilities Break down beef, pork, poultry, or other meat products into various cuts Weigh out portions for sale Wrap and package products for sale Grind meat products for sale as necessary Properly sanitize all equipment with disinfectant Follow all safety guidelines Meat Cutter Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate preferred Prior meat cutting experience or training strongly preferred Basic math skills Knowledgeable about various cuts of meat and proper cooking techniques Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for up to 8 hours Schedule 8 hour shift Holidays Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate Location Liberty, TX 77575: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience Meat cutting: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
