L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and agile Director of Supply Chain to lead supply chain operations in support of a growing business Communication and Spectrum Dominance (CSD). This role is ideal for a leader who can effectively balance strategic vision with operational execution, helping to shape and advance supply chain capabilities in support of business growth, program execution, and operational excellence. The Director will be responsible for leading procurement and subcontracts activities, driving organizational effectiveness, enabling scalable processes and tools, and fostering strong collaboration across engineering, operations, program management, finance, quality, and business leadership.

A key measure of success in this role will be the ability to strengthen and mature the supply chain organization through talent development, process discipline, and capability enhancement, while ensuring early and effective supply chain engagement in product and program planning. The successful candidate will bring an agile mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, customer needs, and market conditions.

This position may be located at any major CSD site and reports through business leadership with a strong cross-functional partnership into Supply Chain and Operations.

Essential Functions:

• Lead the Supply Chain organization in support of business objectives, with responsibility across procurement and subcontracts.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business priorities, program requirements, and operational goals.
• Mature the organization through strong talent development, succession planning, coaching, and capability building.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer responsiveness.
• Drive the deployment, adoption, and optimization of tools, systems, and standard processes to improve efficiency, visibility, and execution.
• Partner closely with engineering, program management, operations, quality, finance, and business leadership to ensure supply chain is engaged early and effectively across the business lifecycle.
• Support cross-functional decision-making to improve affordability, producibility, schedule performance, and supply continuity.
• Lead supply chain planning, execution, risk management, and performance management activities in support of program and operational commitments.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve supplier performance, material flow, lead times, quality, and cost.
• Establish and enhance scalable processes and operating rhythms that support a maturing organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and key business partners.
• Communicate effectively on matters of strategic and operational importance with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations, including import/export considerations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Significant experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontracts, or related leadership roles
• Experience with both FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 12 contracting
• Knowledge of import/export requirements
• Demonstrated experience leading organizational improvement, talent development, and cross-functional business engagement
• Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment
• Experience supporting a new product, program, or business ramp
• Experience maturing or transforming supply chain organizations and processes
• Experience with ERP/MRP implementation or tool deployment, including Costpoint
• Demonstrated success driving process standardization and operational discipline
• Ability to obtain, or currently possess, a security clearance

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $125,000- $233,500 . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
