Job Description

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist***.

Minimum of one year of experience required.

This is a PART TIME/LONG TERM TEMP (2 days a week-one half day and one full day) position requiring availability between the hours of 9A to 1P on Thursdays and 9A to 5P on Fridays located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities:

A Day in the life of a Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist:

As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist you will be responsible for assisting with rooming patients, taking vitals, prescription refill calls, drawing blood, patient follow-up and other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Medical Assistant:

Required: One year of experience working as a medical assistant or phlebotomist
Required: Must be confident and skilled in blood draws
Required: Ability to pass Background Check
Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications for the medical assistant:

Preferred: CMA or RMA
Preferred: Family medicine experience
