CDL A Yard Switcher - $23/hr - Local - Manchester, TN
We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A driver. This position offers a starting pay rate of $23 per hour with a Monday-Friday schedule and some Saturday shifts possible, starting 2 pm - 10 pm.Pay & Job Details
- Pay: $23/hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with Saturdays possible
- Start Time: 2 pm-10 pm; Saturday shift would be 2 pm- 12 am
- Route: Local, Yard Switching
- Freight: Car parts
Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment
- Transport in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1+ year of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience
- Switching experience is a plus
- Strong backing skills
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
