Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Experience with school-aged children, conducting evaluations, and implementing intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Passion for fostering student growth and advocating for their needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for diverse student populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to support students’ progress
- Maintain detailed and compliant records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff professional development, and student support initiatives
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and continue professional learning
