Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT) located in Everett, Washington. This position is responsible for providing specialized respiratory care within a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The assignment involves night shifts, and the selected professional will work three 12-hour nights per week during a 13-week contract.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 Nights, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state or Compact registered nurse license, at least 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care or Emergency Room settings, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Rapid Response Team (RRT), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP (preferred)
• Specialized Skills: Adult Critical Care, aerosol setup masks and trach, assist in high-risk delivery, basic EKG interpretation, bicarbonate management, BiPAP, CPAP, direct intubation, extubation, inhaled medications and steroids, arterial blood gas interpretation, airway management (oral/nasal), Nitric Oxide (INo), pulmonary hygiene, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, ventilator weaning, and use of advanced ventilators and bronchoscopes
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years experience in Adult Critical Care or ER settings; NICU experience is preferred
• Additional Information: Candidates must work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). The assignment begins on June 29, 2026. The healthcare provider must be comfortable floating within the same skill set across different units as needed.
• Miscellaneous: EMR used is EPIC. All travelers are expected to float as part of their responsibilities. References covering at least one year within the last three years are required, and candidates must accept assignments with the hospital's specific charting system.
