Room Attendant
The purpose of the Room Attendant is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for product cleanliness. The Room Attendant must ensure guest satisfaction through hotel cleanliness and attention to our guests needs.
Essential job functions include stocking room attendant carts with adequate supplies, maintaining cleaning equipment, notifying supervisors of supply shortages, removing trash and dirty linens, ensuring hotel public areas meet standards, cleaning furniture and public areas, reporting maintenance problems, spot cleaning walls and carpets, turning in lost articles to management, replenishing supply storerooms, maintaining shelf organization, knowing emergency procedures, taking corrective action to improve safety, maintaining security of keys, delivering special request items, informing supervisors of problems, performing duties with minimal disruption to guests, and working with various cleaning machinery.
