This is an excellent opportunity for parents or professionals seeking greater work-life balance. Why You'll Love This RoleFollows the school schedule: Work during the academic year, with evenings, weekends, and summers off.Paid school holidays (for full-time staff), including Winter Break and Spring Break.Optional summer work: Opportunity to sign up for Extended School Year (ESY) assignments for additional earnings.Supportive, collaborative environment within a mission-driven organization that values both its staff and the families it serves. What You'll Do:Implement treatment plans developed by supervising therapistsProvide quality therapy services to pediatric clients while supporting their developmental and functional goalsDocument client progress, treatment outcomes, and billing information in accordance with program and regulatory requirementsUtilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related systems, including Office 365, Teams, and OutlookCollaborate with families, caregivers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated careAssist with managing therapy equipment, including recommendations, ordering, and education for families and staffMaintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environmentSupport clients across various Easterseals programs as neededProtect client confidentiality and comply with all privacy and HIPAA requirementsDemonstrate professionalism, flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning What You BringAssociate's degree from a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)Current Florida Physical Therapy assistant (PTA) LicenseNational Provider Identifier (NPI) preferredPediatric experience... we will train!
