Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and debug CMM programs for part inspection.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to define inspection requirements.
• Optimize CMM programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform first article inspections and generate reports.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment and probes.
• Troubleshoot measurement issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train operators on CMM operation and program execution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in measurement.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D models.
• Experience with various CMM hardware and probe systems.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in CMM programming within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement
• Ability to train junior programmers or other manufacturing personnel on CMM operation and best practices
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles beyond basic application, including advanced interpretation and analysis
• Experience with automation or robotic integration for CMM inspection processes
