Summary of Responsibilities

This is not an order-taking role. You will own the complete front-end sales journey: inquiry, response, qualification, consultation, paid Design Agreement, follow-through during design, and progression toward a signed Production Agreement.

You'll build trusted relationships with Naples-area homeowners and referral partners, lead thoughtful discovery conversations, and guide the right projects into KGT's paid design and construction process. You'll work closely with Greg, Theresa, Design, Estimating, and Production—but build the skills and confidence to lead appropriate sales conversations independently.

You'll operate within a professionally managed sales system, with a Fractional VP of Sales providing coaching, pipeline strategy, training, and accountability.

What You’ll Do

• Convert Company-Provided Leads: Respond promptly, follow up consistently, and guide qualified opportunities through the sales process.
• Generate Self-Sourced Opportunities: Prospect, network, build strategic partnerships, and develop referrals with luxury Realtors, interior designers, architects, property managers, and past clients.
• Qualify Project Fit: Assess homeowner objectives, scope, investment range, timing, decision-makers, urgency, and property capacity.
• Present KGT's Value: Educate clients on our Dream-Design-Build process and earn commitment to the paid design phase—not unlimited free estimating.
• Coordinate Handoffs: Stay engaged as clients move through design, estimating, Trade Day, and the Production Agreement decision.
• Manage Your Pipeline: Maintain accurate BuilderTrend/CRM records—source, owner, stage, value, next action/date, decision process, and loss reason.
• Own Your Activity Cookbook: Manage weekly activity, pipeline, and forecast; participate in coaching, role-play, and performance accountability.
• Protect Pricing Discipline: Uphold KGT's gross-profit goals, client experience, and production capacity—never make unapproved commitments.

What Success Looks Like

• Consistent conversion of qualified KGT-provided inquiries into paid Design Agreements and profitable construction business.
• A growing, measurable share of self-generated qualified pipeline and revenue—not dependence on inbound leads alone.
• An accurate, actionable pipeline with no active opportunity missing a next step, date, and accountable owner.
• Strong collaboration and a decreasing need for the founder to rescue or personally close routine salesperson-led deals.
• Reliable client communication, disciplined qualification, responsible margins, and excellent internal handoffs.

Who Will Thrive Here

• Demonstrated consultative sales success with high-consideration, relationship-driven purchases; residential remodeling, construction, design-build, luxury home services, or adjacent experience is especially relevant.
• Proven willingness and ability to prospect and create opportunities independently, while treating company-generated leads as valuable investments.
• Comfortable discussing meaningful budgets, timelines, tradeoffs, and complex decision processes with discerning homeowners.
• Strong discovery, listening, presentation, written communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• CRM discipline, coachability, integrity, accountability, and the judgment to disqualify poor-fit work.
• Able to travel locally for meetings, site consultations, networking, and relationship development.
• Knowledgeable about residential remodeling and construction—you can speak confidently about scope, materials, and process.

Compensation

• Base Salary + Uncapped Commission 
• Total Target Compensation: ~$100,000+ in the first year
