Information Technology Intern

We are seeking a motivated and dependable IT Support Intern to assist with day-to-day break/fix support for end-user devices and IT equipment. This role provides hands‑on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues in a fast‑paced business environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in IT support or infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide first‑level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix issues related to hardware (PCs, monitors, peripherals), software (Windows OS, Office applications, standard business tools), and connectivity (network access, VPN, Wi‑Fi). Assist with device imaging, setup, and deployment for new and existing employees. Perform basic repairs and component replacements (RAM, hard drives, cables, etc.). Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the IT service system. Support user account setup and basic access requests. Help maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed. Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and office moves as assigned. Qualifications Required: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware components, and networking fundamentals (IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN basics). Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple requests. Preferred: Previous internship, coursework, or hands‑on experience in IT support. Familiarity with ticketing/help desk systems. Experience with Microsoft 365 environments. Basic knowledge of Active Directory. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take initiative.
