Phlebotomist-Sun City
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Sun City Center, Florida. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering excellent customer service Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and process billing information
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
