Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations and assist with maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities. This role is responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial reporting. Track prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization. Assist with rent collections and tenant accounting activities. Support audits and special accounting projects as needed. Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and maintain compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of accounting experience. Experience with general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Experience working in a multi-entity environment. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. CPA is a plus but not required. Preferred Experience: Commercial real estate or property management accounting. Rent collections, depreciation, amortization, and prepaid expense accounting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
