Certified Nurse Assistant – Empower Recovery, One Step at a Time! Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Employment Type: Employee (Regular) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Hours per week Pay: Hourly (Health-19) Job Description As a CNA , you’ll work side‑by‑side with Registered Nurses to ensure patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their hospital stay. Your dedication and attentiveness help create a healing environment where patients receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Help ensure patient comfort and safety at all times. Change bed linens and maintain a clean, organized patient space. Assist with transporting patients to tests and procedures. Serve and collect meal trays and provide between‑meal nourishment. Record temperature and vital signs as directed by nursing staff. Support the nursing team with a variety of patient care activities. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
