Job Summary


Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator responsible for effectively managing patient interactions and clinic operations. The role involves scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring a smooth patient flow in the clinic.


Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors professionally, in person and over the phone.
• Promptly answer calls and route inquiries appropriately.
• Efficiently schedule appointments to optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction.
• Notify providers of patient arrivals and support patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Provide comfort and support to patients by answering general questions with professionalism.
• Retrieve, verify, and update patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process paperwork and complete data entry tasks accurately and on time.
• Verify financial records, collect patient charges, and assist with patient check-out.
• Maintain office inventory and monitor supply levels.
• Ensure the waiting area and front desk are neat, clean, and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of medical office experience required.
• Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Basic office skills, including typing, filing, and data entry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and web-based tools.
