Registered Nurse (RN) - On-Call Community Hospice

Position Per diem Registered Nurse (RN) on call in the Columbia‑Greene county area for evenings and overnights. Employment Type Part time. Shift Rotating shift; workdays and hours are based on need and may include weekdays Monday‑Friday 4:00 pm‑8:00 am and weekend evening/overnight needs. Benefits National pre‑taxed mileage reimbursement. Meetings and charting conducted via supplied laptop. Thorough orientation, preceptors and a supportive work environment. Comprehensive safety training and provision of personal protective equipment. What You Will Do Visit patients in their home or facility to respond to symptom management needs and coordinate with our team to provide end‑of‑life support to patients and families. Responsibilities Based upon the assessment of the On‑Call Triage RN, this On‑Call Visit RN will be called to care for a patient/family in need. Work with interdisciplinary team. Qualifications Valid NYS RN license required. 1‑2 years previous RN experience required, homecare and/or hospice experience preferred. Ability to learn/use an electronic medical record. Clean driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers. Pay and Compensation Pay range for non‑per diem: $38.00‑$50.18 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
