Talent acquisition specialist

We have a greeat contract opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Troy! We are seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience recruiting within the automotive or manufacturing industry. This role will partner closely with engineering, R&D, operations, and manufacturing leaders to develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for technical and specialized positions across multiple states. This will be Monday-Friday, 40-hours a week. *6 month contract*

salary: $34 - $37 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing,
candidate selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
• Creates internal and external job postings for Valeo opportunities on social media, job boards,
and other tools used within their scope; follows the advertising guidelines to better promote and
market Valeo as an employer of choice.
• Partner closely with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to align on talent needs,
ensure effective candidate evaluation, to ensure an efficient hiring experience.
• Manages candidate screening using available tools and channels: applications through Workday,
social media (i.e., LinkedIn and others), and searches through external databases and job
boards.
• Maintains social and professional networks to engage with potential candidates and build talent
pipelines.
• Represent the organization at career fairs, university recruiting events, industry events,
networking events, and community initiatives.
• Regularly interacts with TAC team members, Hiring Managers, and the HR network to facilitate
talent acquisition processes and standards and strengthen our business partnership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
• 5+ years of recruitment experience within an automotive supplier, OEM, or manufacturing
environment
• Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing,corporate, and technical positions
• Experience with Workday is required.
