Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialist 2020 Companies is seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialists to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you'll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to review, schedule, and complete assignments at different retail venues within 90 miles. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you manage your schedule to complete work within established timelines, build store-level relationships, and ensure top-quality execution on every project. Position Details Pay: $17 per hour Travel Area: Must be willing to travel up to 90 miles from your residence to complete assignments Schedule: MondayFriday Hours: Flexible schedule with assignments scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please note: Hours are based on available assignments and are not guaranteed Scheduling: Opportunities include flexible self-scheduling options as well as scheduled shifts based on client and project needs Screening Requirements: This position requires a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance. Candidates must successfully complete a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening, and drug screening in accordance with applicable state laws A Day in the Life: Install, assemble, and update retail fixtures, shelving, endcaps, and displays Complete retail resets, store build-outs, remodels, and display repairs Follow planograms (POGs), schematics, and client-specific merchandising directives with accuracy Install and service TVs, interactive displays, kiosks, and other retail display equipment Update operating systems and software on display devices Install and replace graphics, pricing cards, SD cards, and other marketing materials Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and display issues to ensure equipment is functioning properly Capture and upload photos to document completed work using a mobile device Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while representing the client professionally Our Benefits: Next-day pay on demand with DailyPay Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement MondayFriday work schedule - no weekends required Most major holidays off Paid training to set you up for success Flexible field assignments with a variety of retail clients and projects Maintain work-life flexibility by providing a minimum of 20 hours of availability for field assignments within a rolling 30-day period Opportunity for ongoing assignments based on availability and business needs Requirements: Comfortable using hand tools and technology Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle Ability and willingness to climb ladders up to 10 feet Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day Willingness to travel up to 90 miles from your residence in any direction to complete service assignments Must provide and use the following tools: Phillips head & flat head screwdriver, hex keys, box cutter, tape measure, microfiber cloth, 256G USB (USB-A / C adapter) Smartphone with a current operating system and active data plan. Must be comfortable downloading mobile apps, following digital work instructions, and uploading photos to document completed assignments Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Respond and remain responsible for consistent communication with field services management quickly (within 24 hours of contact). Representatives are responsible for keeping their availability updated and accurate. Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates. Installing and building displays, end caps, and fixturing. Complete necessary forms/images/surveys associated with each job/assignment before leaving the job site. Maintaining and updating displays according to planograms/client requests. Conducting break-fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional. Participate in early morning installations and installations involving a team of 2+ people and provide solution feedback. Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines. Contribute to the team's success by assisting other members as needed. Adhere to timelines associated with accurate timecard submission, reporting anomalies daily with needed corrections. Work independently in a fast-paced environment. Participate and complete training and certification programs. Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows. Available for weekend assignments as needed. Scheduling / Planning: Your hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends; some early morning hours are possible, and/or holidays based on store/client requirements. Be open to provide and receive feedback. Qualifications: Age / Eligibility: Must be 18 or older (due to insurance requirements). Must be authorized to work in the United States Availability: Flexible availability Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday availability as needed. Early morning and late-night availability as needed. Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30-day period. Physical Abilities: Climb a ladder up to 10 feet in height. Safely lift and carry up to 60lbs. Able to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead Adaptability: Ability to adjust to the ever-changing variety of tasks and work environments. Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities, primarily via phone, text, and email, to coordinate tasks and provide updates.
