Field Sales Representative
The Pittsburgh Paints Company (PPC) is looking for a motivated Field Sales Representative to grow our Glidden and Olympic business within a Home Depot Territory. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, engaging customers, and getting results.
You will work onsite in the South Philadelphia/Delaware County/Northern Delaware territory and report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generate new business by engaging Pro contractors and DIY customers in Home Depot stores.
- Build strong relationships with Home Depot store leadership and associates.
- Train store teams on Glidden and Olympic paint products.
- Identify sales opportunities and grow accounts within your territory.
- Maintain strong product visibility through merchandising, displays, and stocked shelves.
- Use CRM tools to track activity and manage your territory.
- Recommend the right product solutions for customer projects.
- Support inventory management and maintain color centers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education High School Diploma with 1 year of sales experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1 Year of experience can include educational classes and/or internships.
- This position is based on a 45-hour work week which includes base salary and overtime.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
The base salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 with five hours of overtime weekly and annual bonus. Actual benefit offerings confirmed at the time of hire.
PPC Participates in a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) program. With FAVR, you drive your own car and receive tax-free reimbursements that cover both fixed costs (like insurance) and variable costs (like gas), giving you more choice and equity in your vehicle.
