We Are Hiring Location: Appleton, WI Hospital: Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Schedule: Weekends 24 hours | Part-time 7:00 am to 7:00 pm What You Will Do Operate advanced imaging scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images, supporting physicians in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies. Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and precision to produce optimal diagnostic results. Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines to ensure a secure and compliant environment for patients and staff. Ensure the prompt and accurate transmission of imaging data to PACS, maintaining comprehensive patient histories and clinical records. Provide patient pre-screening and education, guiding individuals through their examination process to reduce anxiety and ensure clarity. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
