This role is responsible for advising on clinical policies, drug utilization, and pharmacy operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance program performance and patient outcomes. You will play a key role in aligning pharmacy strategies with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.In addition to prior authorization activities, this role will support state meetings and assist with state-required deliverables related to account operations. This position provides broader clinical and operational support and is not solely focused on prior authorization responsibilities.Your role in our missionEnsure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicaid requirementsConduct clinical evaluations of medication therapy, including prior authorization reviews and drug utilization assessmentsPerform peer-to-peer consultations with providers and support prescriber outreach for identified clinical interventionsProvide clinical guidance to call center teams and support pharmacy-related inquiries and escalationsContribute to quality improvement initiatives, program optimization, and development of best practicesWhat we're looking for2-4 years of clinical pharmacy experience requiredStrong knowledge of clinical pharmacy programs, drug utilization review, and regulatory requirementsExperience with Medicaid/Medicare pharmacy programs or PBM environments preferredStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsWhat you should expect in this roleRemote-based role within the United States with flexibility to support client and business needsWork schedule: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST for PA coverageTravel: 0-10%Applications will be accepted until October 30, 2026.The pay range for this position is $90,900.00 - $129,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
