Phlebotomist

Labcorp Phlebotomist – Arlington, VA Labcorp is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Arlington, VA. The Phlebotomist will be the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and performing accurate specimen collections. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses. Enter patient data accurately and promptly into the system. Process billing information and collect payments from patients. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred: 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist. Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment and tolerate minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Hourly rate ranging from $17.75 to $26.00, based on skills and experience. Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which provides a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
