PCEP Intern

About this Role Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a PCEP Intern to join its high-volume, high-availability trade clearing team, working on a cloud-native, event-driven micro-services framework using GCP, AWS, Kafka and modern dev‑ops practices. What you will do Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. Apply design techniques and coding standards coached by senior engineers. Build resilient, self‑scaling, self‑healing services that enable reliable operation. Support production systems, including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty), and documentation. Write high‑quality, well‑tested code with 100% unit test coverage. Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold high code‑quality standards. What you can expect A highly collaborative environment focused on outcomes and momentum. The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed Required: Pursuing a BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 0‑2+ years of experience as a software developer or similar role. Ability to learn new technologies (languages, tools, frameworks) quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred: Previous internships, work experience, projects or publications that demonstrate a passion for software engineering. Familiarity with common design patterns.
