Travel Labor & Delivery RN – McAllen, Texas

Facility: Rio Grande Regional Hospital
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Rotating weekends
Positions Available: 1

Unit Details:

• 14 labor beds
• 8 antepartum beds
• 2 operating rooms
• 6 recovery bays
• Labor ratio: 1:2
• Antepartum ratio: 1:4
• EMR: Meditech and Centricity Perinatal
• Scrub color: Royal blue

Required Experience and Certifications:

• Labor management experience
• BLS
• NRP
• Intermediate EFM

Preferred:

• Ability to circulate in the Labor & Delivery operating room

Clinical Experience:

• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Bilateral tubal ligations
• D&C procedures
• Uterine tamponade devices
• Magnesium drip administration and titration
• Pitocin drip administration and titration

Floating Requirements:

• Antepartum
• Postpartum with OB assignments only
