Position Summary

The People & Culture Partner is a hands-on HR partner supporting employees and managers, primarily at US Modules’ 24/7 manufacturing operation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Culture, the role supports employee relations, manager coaching, performance management, leave and benefits, compliance, talent support, engagement, and process improvement. Two Partners—day and swing shift—work together to provide consistent coverage and case handoffs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People & Culture contact for employees and managers on the assigned shift.
• Manage employee relations intake, fact-finding, documentation, follow-up, and case resolution; escalate complex or high-risk matters.
• Coach managers on performance, corrective action, progressive discipline, policy application, and employee concerns.
• Maintain confidential case records and identify employee-relations trends and opportunities for proactive action.
• Partner across shifts and functions to ensure consistent guidance, communication, and workforce support.
• Support performance reviews, goal setting, calibration, and employee development.
• Create and maintain HR SOPs, onboarding workflows, templates, employee guides, and supervisor tools.
• Support benefits and leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, disability, and return-to-work coordination.
• Partner with Paychex/PEO and benefits vendors to resolve employee issues.
• Support onboarding, employee records, status changes, offboarding, audits, reporting, and compliance activities.
• Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws and company policies while protecting employee data and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on hiring, onboarding handoffs, staffing partners, community recruiting, job fairs, internships, and employer-brand activities.
• Support employee engagement, orientations, and other People & Culture initiatives as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR/People & Culture experience, including employee relations, manager support, and employee lifecycle responsibilities.
• Experience in manufacturing, multi-site, multi-entity, or shift-based environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, workers’ compensation, and applicable employment laws.
• Experience with Paychex or similar PEO/HRIS; benefits experience preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
• English required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred, particularly for swing shift.
• Day or swing shift; limited occasional travel between company sites and to recruiting/community events.
• Primarily office-based with regular movement throughout manufacturing sites; prolonged computer use.
• Occasional lifting/carrying of materials up to 15 lbs.
• Frequent verbal and written communication involving accurate and confidential information.
