Clinical Applications Manager - Epic Radiant/Cupid

Position: Clinical Applications Manager Epic Radiant/Cupid
Location: Remote with minimal travel (approximately twice per year); onsite location in San Francisco, CA
Key Requirements
- 5 10 years of experience supporting the Epic Radiant module (support experience required; implementation experience alone is not sufficient)
- Prior application leadership experience
- Supervisory/management experience, including leading teams and managing direct reports
- Experience supervising a team of 6 full-time employees and 1 contractor is highly preferred
- Epic Radiant Certification (required)
- Epic Cupid Certification (strongly preferred but not required)
- Role Summary
- The Clinical Applications Manager will lead and support clinical application systems, including design, build, testing, implementation, maintenance, and optimization activities. This individual will partner closely with clinical stakeholders to understand workflows, documentation requirements, and clinical practice standards, ensuring that application solutions effectively support patient care and operational needs.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clinical users through application expertise and workflow analysis
- Collaborating with clinicians to develop and adapt protocols and processes
- Preparing detailed specifications, including clinical workflows, information flow diagrams, risk assessments, and impact analyses
- Providing troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support as needed
- Leading application teams and driving best practices across clinical systems

- This position requires a highly experienced technical leader with deep expertise in clinical applications and healthcare IT operations. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Analyze and resolve complex, often unique issues with minimal precedent
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Develop strategies and oversee processes, policies, and resources
- Lead and mentor application support staff while ensuring service excellence
