Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility where a vibrant team of healthcare professionals collaborates daily. Our facility is designed to promote an atmosphere of healing and recovery, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and resources. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a perfect work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their treatment needs and set realistic goals for recovery.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on each patient's unique challenges, using techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress within our electronic medical records (EMR) system, including adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, pain management strategies, and preventive measures to enhance recovery and minimize the risk of further injuries.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Ensure compliance with all California physical therapy licensing requirements and maintain accurate documentation to uphold high standards of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, workplace injuries, and age-related physical impairments. Our approach is holistic, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s well-being are taken into account to promote effective recovery pathways.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid California Physical Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Educational background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (DPT preferred).
• Current certification in CPR/BLS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients and their families effectively.
• Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
