Construction Coordinator

Assist the Construction Manager with project oversight, including, but not limited to, plan review, bid solicitation, contractor selection and contract award, project billing, project documentation, and project closeout. Participate in the bid review process by soliciting, organizing, analyzing, and comparing contractor quotations and proposals. Review project submittals for accuracy, completeness, and conformity with approved plans, specifications, and project requirements. Maintain and update project budget tracking spreadsheets in coordination with the Construction Manager, including commitments, expenditures, change orders, and projected costs. Coordinate and administer the project change management process, including documentation, approvals, and budget updates. Review and process contractor pay applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements. Monitor project-related accounts receivable using aged receivable reports and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams to address outstanding balances. Assist in monitoring project progress to ensure work is being completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, project schedules, and client expectations. Desired Qualifications Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. Demonstrated knowledge of construction project financial practices, budgeting, invoicing, pay applications, and project cost tracking. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and competing responsibilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records and financial information. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with executive-level internal and external clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, clients, and internal team members. Ability to identify issues, follow through on action items, and proactively communicate project status and concerns. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, real estate, accounting, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of one year of experience in construction, commercial real estate, project coordination, accounting, or administrative support within the construction or real estate industry. Experience with construction project administration, budgeting, contracts, pay applications, or project documentation preferred.
