CBRN Lead Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CBRN Lead to join our team. What You'll Be Doing Act as a site manager. Conduct CBRN detection operations as directed by federal staff, including coordinating with stakeholders, managing equipment, planning logistics, developing plans, teaching and training stakeholders on equipment protocols, reporting information, notifying chain of command, writing situational reports and after‑action reports, and following up in post‑deployment communications. Manage and maintain file system for regional documentation, including record keeping, following file standards and protocols, and maintaining electronic and paper files. Maintain equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedure standards by completing all required training, including refresher training, in accordance with MDDP policies. Support fleet management by documenting, tracking, submitting, and filing all necessary fleet vehicle information in accordance with MDDP, CWMD, and DHS policies. Adhere to professional standards and codes of conduct set by MDDP, CWMD, and DHS, including dress code, communication standards, social media regulations, and other policies. Present clear, concise, and accurate information on the Mobile Detection Deployment Program and its capabilities to a variety of stakeholders and groups. Professionally conduct training and answer questions on policies, procedures, protocols, and equipment of the program to stakeholders and groups. Provide SITREPs at the end of each mission operational period. Provide AAR at the conclusion of deployment. Required Skills and Qualifications Active Secret security clearance or higher. Ability to obtain DHS suitability. 10 years of experience in radiological and nuclear detection and training. Experience in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection, and CBRN training and exercises. Special event operational experience including SEAR or NSSE events. Proficiency with mobile portable radiation detection systems, personal radiation detectors, spectroscopic/non‑spectroscopic devices, radiological isotope identification devices, radio equipment, and radioactive material sources. Experience with primary and secondary screening devices, including spectroscopic devices and chemical identification equipment using FTIR and Raman technologies. Certifications: NIMS, ICS, at least one basic radiation fundamentals certification, and primary and secondary screener preventative certifications, all valid. Level I candidates: excellent decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills, able to operate in a high‑paced environment with deadlines. Minimum 7 years of hands‑on equipment experience, 10 years overall operational planning and coordination of detection and preventative activities. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment. Excellent verbal and communication skills, including completing daily situation reports, after‑action reports, and monthly reports. Proficient in computers, A/V equipment, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Radiation worker training and experience working with radioactive materials. Willingness to travel up to 75% of the month within the contiguous United States and U.S. territories, including back‑to‑back trips exceeding a week. Valid driver's license and experience towing larger trailers including a fifth wheel. Class B CDL license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire. Desired Skills Biological and chemical detection experience. Bachelor's degree. Security Clearance An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
