Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement personalized therapy interventions following the OT plan of care to help patients regain independence
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for continued success at home
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising Occupational Therapist to optimize treatment outcomes
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to deliver the highest quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA license in Kansas (or ability to obtain before start)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills with a positive attitude
• A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in patients' lives

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Patient care and advocacy
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Clear communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Occupational therapy interventions and therapeutic techniques
• Patient and family education
• Compliance with state and federal regulations
