Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a variety of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic post-surgical patients including those on ECMO, LVAD, and undergoing heart transplants.
• Administer and titrate critical care medications including inotropes and sedation.
• Collaborate with intensivists and advanced practice providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize tele monitoring and recognize ECG changes to notify physicians or providers.
• Maintain a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio as required by patient acuity.
• Document patient information accurately using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; willing to obtain West Virginia license if needed.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of CVICU experience with cardiac, vascular, and thoracic patients.
• Competency in administering and titrating critical care drips.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Experience with CRRT and critical care respiratory therapy equipment.
