About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!
Responsibilities
- Care for respiratory and medical patients (pneumonia, COPD, GI, diabetes, stroke).
- Work on a 42‑bed MS/Tele Respiratory unit (1:6 ratio) and 8‑bed step‑down (1:4 ratio).
- Perform assessments, meds, treatments, and documentation in Meditech.
- Join daily interdisciplinary rounds.
- Float to other units/hospitals as needed.
Shift
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: Every other weekend + holidays
- Guaranteed: 36 hrs/week
- Start Date: 03/02/2026

Education - Required
- Associated degree in nursing
Certifications – Required
- AHA BLS
- Or Red Cross
Licenses – Required
- Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)
- NURSYS
Experience - Required:
- 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 recent year of experience in the field of specialty.
