Nurse Manager - Neuro ICU

The Nurse Manager collaborates with the Administrative Director to manage the patient care unit for administrative and clinical aspects. This includes organizing, developing, directing, and assuring cost‑effective, quality patient care. The role directs and oversees processes ensuring patient care aligns with hospital, state, federal, Joint Commission, and ANA policies, procedures, regulations, ethics, and standards. It provides staff education based on theoretical and clinical expertise. The position holds 24-hour accountability for clinical resources and patient care continuity. Education Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent competencies/experience). Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing, Education, Management, or related field (or equivalent competencies). Experience Two years in clinical specialty (Neuro ICU). One year supervisory or management experience. Working knowledge of quality improvement and Joint Commission standards. Certifications/Licensures Registered Nurse licensed in Florida. American Heart Association BLS certification. ACLS certification. Other Qualifications Managerial experience relating to diverse individuals.
