Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for small animal care, strong technical abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional care to our patients and providing education and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including examinations, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
• Collect and process laboratory samples, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain medical records
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
• Educate clients on proper animal care, preventive health measures, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in all areas of the hospital
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification in California
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred
• Strong technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, blood draws, and laboratory testing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
