Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid nursing license Certifications: Required certifications Must-Have: Candidates must possess oncology and medical surgical skills. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The unit has 12 beds. Typical staffing is 2-3 RNs and 1 PCT per shift. During the night shift, the patient-to-nurse ratio is 1-5 or 1-6. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Typical procedures performed in this unit include medical, surgical, and chemotherapy treatments. Candidates with medical surgical skills will be prioritized. Ideal candidates will possess a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team. Candidates should expect to rotate weekends as part of their duties.
