Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Weekend availability required (approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per scheduling period)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Manage a patient assignment within a 27-bed Emergency Department, maintaining standard ratios with flexibility during peak census periods
• Care for a diverse patient population including stroke patients and a wide variety of emergency presentations
• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, including one major and one minor holiday per contract period
• Wear facility-designated navy blue scrubs in compliance with department dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community-based Emergency Department setting serving both adult and pediatric populations
• Familiarity with stroke center protocols and high-acuity emergency care
